OSCIL will be hosting a FREE Lunch & Learn Workshop on Thursday, September 26th from 12-3 pm entitled:

SELF-ADVOCACY: How You Can Be More Assertive to Request an ASL & CDI Interpreter”

Learn how to be proactive in asking for American Sign Language (ASL) and Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDI). We will practice role playing and learn how to request ASL Interpreters & CDI’s in emergency rooms/hospitals/doctor’s offices, schools and employment settings.  

Facilitators are Margaret Molloy, OSCIL & Mike Baer, RICDHH.

This workshop will take place at OSCIL’s location at 175 Main Street in Pawtucket.
