October Lunch and Learn Workshop
Topic: Vision Awareness Month – Documentary “Going Blind”
This month, to highlight Vision Awareness Month, OSCIL will be screening the documentary “Going Blind” at our Lunch & Learn. This documentary is produced by and follows news producer and filmmaker Joseph Lovett through his experience after being diagnosed with glaucoma and examines how people, especially artists, cope with vision loss.
“Going Blind” is a unique documentary film that increases public awareness of sight loss and low vision issues profoundly affecting the lives of more and more people around the world” (Going Blind website). After the documentary we will have a short-time for Q&A. We will be starting this documentary right at 12pm, so please arrive at 11:45pm.
